Inca dinner: a unique Inca ceremony.
Experience an authentic Inca ceremony at a highly recommended restaurant specializing in organic cuisine, located just a block and a half from the iconic Main Square (Plaza de Armas) in Cusco.
This unique performance features four talented local actors dressed in traditional Inca royal attire. They will portray key figures of Inca society: the Inca (the ruler or emperor), the Qoya (the Inca’s wife), the Willac Uma (the high priest), and a Military General. Together, they will bring to life the rituals and songs of the Sun Festival, or Inti Raymi, a celebration held during Inca times on June 21st to honor the Sun, one of the most revered deities in Inca culture.
The Inca Dinner Team is dedicated to delivering an immersive experience that takes you back in time to the height of the Inca civilization. The actors will perform in Runasimi, the native language of the Incas, meaning “the people’s language,” adding authenticity to the ceremony.
During the performance, you will witness sacred rituals, including offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth), the rituals of fire, corn beer, coca leaves, and more. Adding to the atmosphere, four musicians will play pre-Columbian instruments, such as flutes, pan flutes, drums, and others, creating an enchanting soundtrack to the evening.
We are proud to feature actors who also perform in the official Sun Festival (Inti Raymi), celebrated annually on June 24th in Cusco and organized by the local municipality.
Step into the world of the Incas and let yourself be transported to their time through this captivating cultural and culinary experience.
